While on the long road to recovery, it’s easy to start building up expectations about what you should be doing daily to “get better.” Exercises and routines designed to be healing can quickly morph into yet another stressor on your nervous system. During times like this, I’m learning that embracing a sense of ease is helpful, as well as realizing that one small thing a week is better than nothing at all. Even the littlest of effort can have an impact over time.
This month’s meditation is all about reconnecting and welcoming in some lightness by exploring the feeling of ease we’ve all experienced at some point in our lives. I hope it helps to bring in a gentler perspective as we continue to muddle through this go-go-go world.
